Delete your Sway account
You can remove your Sway account at any time. Deletion is permanent.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — display name, bio, avatar
- Your virtual-credit balance and wallet history
- All trades, positions, and ledger entries tied to your account
- All public calls and comments you've posted
- Reputation snapshots (accuracy, edge, conviction scores)
- Push notification tokens
- Authentication records and session tokens
Permanent. Once your account is deleted, your history cannot be reconstructed. Since Sway is paper trading, there are no funds to return.
How to delete
Option 1 — In the app (coming soon)
Open Sway → Settings → Delete account. Requires confirmation. This option is being built; until it ships, use Option 2.
Option 2 — Email support
Send an email from the address on your account with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We'll confirm within 2 business days and remove your account within 7.

User-identifiable data is removed immediately. Anonymized aggregates used to audit the markets themselves (resolution records, system-wide accuracy metrics) may persist for up to 30 days, then are purged.
