Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. You can delete your Swayn account at any time using either method below.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, display name, and handle
- All photos you've uploaded
- Your messages and conversations
- Your posts and replies
- Your presence and location history
- Your push notification tokens
- Your authentication credentials
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
How to delete
Option 1: In the app
- Open Swayn
- Tap your profile photo (top right)
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll to the bottom
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
Option 2: By email
If you can't access the app, send a deletion request to:
Include the email address associated with your account. We'll process your request within 72 hours.
Data retention
After deletion, some data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for safety purposes (e.g., abuse reports). This retained data is not associated with your identity and cannot be used to reconstruct your account.
